Child, 2, hit by car, now in stable condition

UPDATE 7.30PM: The two-year-old child has been transported to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition with injuries to his left arm.
Police confirmed the vehicle was reversing and struck the child.
No one else has been injured.
6PM: EMERGENCY crews are responding to reports of a person being hit with a car in the Lammermoor area.
According to reports the incident happened in Bottle Brush Drive at 5.53pm.
It's believed a child has been injured.
