Police investigate Toowoomba stabbing death
UPDATE 9pm: Police have confirmed the victim of a brutal stabbing in Toowoomba this afternoon has died.
The 37-year-old woman was found with serious chest injuries at a property on McGregor St, Wilsonton just after 2pm.
She was taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a critical condition, but was later pronounced dead.
The victim's family has been notified.
Police have spoken to several people in relation to the homicide, but said they still require assistance from the public.

UPDATE 5pm: Police are now investigating the crime scene where a woman was stabbed in the chest in Wilsonton.
Police have been observed searching through rubbish bins near a set of units on McGregor St.
Officers are also looking into a car parked in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant nearby, which is believed to be connected.
The dog squad and forensic officers have been deployed to help with investigations.
EARLIER: A woman has been rushed to hospital after she was stabbed in the chest in Toowoomba.
Police are investigating the incident, which was reported at 2.10pm on McGregor St in Wilsonton.
The 37-year-old woman was conscious and breathing when paramedics arrived, and was rushed to the Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
A police spokeswoman said multiple units are still at the scene to determine the cause and potential culprits.
There are multiple scenes of interest for police on McGregor St, including a set of units and outside the Hungry Jack's down the road.
Police media confirmed that several people were assisting officers with inquiries.
