Police hunt suspects after fire bombing

POLICE are hunting a group of men who reportedly threw a petrol bomb through the window of a house north of Brisbane.

Officers were called to Vievers St at Caboolture after reports a group of men were damaging cars with fence palings about 4pm, a police spokeswoman said.

“We received a further call from somebody to say that a petrol bomb, or something similar, was thrown through the window of an address and the house subsequently caught alight, she said.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Crews and paramedics attended.

The fire was quickly put out, a QFES spokesman said.

Two people suffered minor burns and were treated at the scene by paramedics.

Police remain at the property and investigations are continuing.
