Missing Dalby woman 'sighted' in WA after appeal

UPDATE: Police believe a Darling Downs woman who hasn't made contact with family in more than two months may be in Western Australia.

Dalby woman Jodie Sheather, 30, last spoke with family on May 6 but failed to maintain contact in what was described as out-of-character behaviour.

Police issued a missing persons bulletin late on Tuesday night, urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.

It said Ms Sheather might be in Western Australia in the Kwiana and Rockingham areas.

A police spokesman yesterday told The Chronicle WA police had received a number of reported sightings of Ms Sheather but she had yet to report to a station in person.

The spokesman said because police had not spoken with her in person she remained listed as missing.

Ms Sheather is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 160cm tall with a solid build and brown hair.

Anyone that may have seen her is being urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
