Police find burnt body of a woman

POLICE have found the charred remains of a woman after a fire near Tumbulgum, south of the Gold Coast, this morning.

The Gold Coast Bulletin reports the side of a road in a paddock about 7.30am when emergency services were called to Pollards Road, Dulguigan, after reports of a fire.

New South Wales Police from the Tweed/Byron local area command have reportedly said the death is being treated as suspicious.
