Police charge driver three times over the limit after crash

A GATTON man was charged with drink driving today after he drove off the road and into a tree while intoxicated.

The 29-year-old had minor cuts and was taken to Warwick police station.

He returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.151.

Warwick police were called to the crash on the Cunningham Hwy at Tregony about 7am.

The car was substantially damaged and towed from the scene.

The man will appear in Warwick Magistrates Court on September 7.
