THE leading Australian oil and gas exploration industry body has thanked the community of Roma for it's ongoing support at a family fun day at the Big Rig.

APPEA rallied the Roma Men's Shed to man the barbecue, plating up free steak burgers and snags while the kids of the Maranoa enjoyed a jumping castle.

Local oil and gas heavyweights mingled with community members as an attempt to thank the town for it's fifty plus years of support.
