Peppa Pig says Slip, Slop, Slap

CANCER Council Queensland has teamed up with the iconic Peppa Pig to help kids Slip, Slop, Slap.

New research shows about 54% of Queensland children aged five to 17 are sunburnt annually.

But with the help of Peppa Pig and friends, Cancer Council Queensland aims to ensure Queensland kids get adequate protection from the sun.

Cancer Council Queensland has released a new range of children's SPF 50+ sunscreen products featuring Peppa Pig on the bottle.

Cancer Council Queensland spokeswoman Katie Clift said it was vital for children to protect their skin, in order to reduce their risk of skin cancer later in life.

"We've teamed up with Peppa Pig to help keep Queensland children covered as they head outdoors to play," Ms Clift said.
