Pedestrian seriously injured on Warrego Hwy

UPDATE 2.45PM: A QUEENSLAND Ambulance spokesperson said paramedics attended a truck and pedestrian incident at 1.18pm.
QAS transported one patient to Roma Hospital with serious head injuries.
EARLIER 1.45PM: A PERSON has been critically injured in a traffic incident on the edge of town near Explorers Inn on the Warrego Highway.
A QPS media spokesperson said one person has been injured in an incident involving a vehicle and pedestrian just after 1pm.
Fire, ambulance and police are on the scene.
If you are travelling in the area, take care and avoid the area if possible.
