$143k of travel in less than five months in Premier's office
PREMIER Annastacia Palaszczuk has slugged taxpayers more than $143,000 for domestic and international travel for herself and her staff in her first four-and-a-half months in office.

The Ministerial Expenses Report, released on Monday, revealed former premier Campbell Newman billed taxpayers $114,107 for domestic and international travel over a seven-month period from July 1 last year to February 14 this year.
Newly-installed Speaker Peter Wellington spent a measly $717.47 on travel over the same period compared with his parliamentary colleagues.
Former speaker Fiona Simpson billed taxpayers $20,472 in travel to-and-from her Sunshine Coast electorate, but did not take advantage of a full-time chauffer driver which came with her office.
Former deputy-premier Jeff Seeney billed taxpayers $125,092 for charter flights to-and-from his Callide electorate, but no commercial flights operate to the region.
