Boy hurts back in bodyboarding incident
UPDATE 5.50PM: A boy was treated for lower back injuries after a bodyboarding incident at Moffat Beach.
The incident was initially reported as a near drowning.
The eight-year-old boy was taken to Nambour Hospital by ambulance in a stable condition.
4.35PM: A young boy has pulled from the water at a Sunshine Coast beach after a near drowning.
The eight-year-old was pulled from the water at Moffat Beach about 4.25pm and was initially reported as not alert.
He is being treated by paramedics for abnormal breathing.
