No bail application for Dalby woman accused of stabbing

A DALBY woman accused of stabbing a man in a Brisbane private hospital has not applied for bail.

Nikki Leanne Huth, 28, faced Brisbane Magistrates Court charged with attempted murder of a 38-year-old man.

She is also charged with wounding, common assault, enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence and going armed as to cause fear.

Police were called to Toowong Private Hospital just after 6pm on Sunday night following reports of a stabbing.

Police will allege Nathan James Craker, 38, sustained serious injuries to his neck and leg.

He has since undergone surgery and police say the man is now recovering.

The case was adjourned until September 19 for a committal mention.

Huth's lawyer Nicholas Brown said his client would likely make a bail application at a later date.- ARM NEWSDESK
