Mungallala State School gives ‘thumbs up’ for new officer
MUNGALLALA State School students gave a warm welcome to the town’s newest resident and police officer, Acting Senior Constable Brent Whittaker.
Constable Whittaker recently took up the position of Officer in Charge of Mungallala Police Station, a one-officer station in the Roma Patrol Group, approximately seven hours west of Brisbane.
The students had plenty of great questions about policing and couldn’t wait for a look inside the police vehicle.
After careful consideration (and some lights and sirens), the students gave Acting Senior Constable Brent Whittaker the ‘thumbs up!”
