It is reported the oranges were bought from her local Woolworths store in Chinchilla earlier this month.
The oranges have been sent to the Queensland Health Forensic and Scientific Services for examination.

Mrs Postle told Nine News she returned the fruit to the grocery store because she was concerned it posed a health risk.
She said despite the purple colouring, the fruit smelt and felt like an orange.
Woolworths confirmed the fruit had been returned due to the discolouration.
