Mother-of-five, 33, dies suddenly, community rallies
A FATHER and his five children have had their world turned upside down after wife and mother Anna Ward, 33, died suddenly and unexpectedly.
Anna's sister-in-law Bianca Simpson said the Caloundra family was heartbroken.
"Anna passed away ... without any warning," she said.
"She just sat down and went to sleep.
"My poor brother (Brett) is heartbroken and they have five beautiful children all under 12 years of age that went to school with mum saying 'goodbye, I love you, see you this afternoon', to be gone when they got home."
Bianca has started a gofundme campaign to help Brett, Ebony, Triston, Ava, Zach and Dom through this difficult time.
"Anna was only in her mid 30s so they were not prepared for this in any way," Bianca said.
Friends and community members have rallied around the family, raising almost $5000 to help with funeral costs.
