Missing NSW teen seen in Brisbane

A 13-year-old NSW girl has gone missing while on a family holiday in Brisbane.

POLICE searching for a missing 13-year-old New South Wales girl believed to be in the West End area of Brisbane have released new images of the girl as they continue to appeal for public assistance.

The girl was last seen in Franklin Street, Highgate Hill around 1.30pm yesterday. She has not been in contact with family since.

Although the teenager has no family or known friends in Brisbane, it is believed she may visit the West End, South Bank or Brisbane CBD areas.

She is Caucasian, approximately 150cm tall with a proportionate build, shoulder-length brown curly hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a blue and white singlet top, jeans with the cuffs rolled up, orange socks, black sneakers. She was carrying a yellow/orange canvas beach bag.

Anyone who may have seen the girl, or has any information in relation to her current whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
