Missing Charleville man found dead

UPDATE: 8.30PM

A QUEENSLAND Police Service spokesman confirmed to Newscorp that the 75-year-old man reported missing north of Charleville earlier on Sunday has been located deceased.

The man was located at 3pm this afternoon.

Police will now prepare a report for the Coroner.

EARLIER, 4.28PM

A 75-year-old man has been reported missing north of Charleville.

Peter Yaun (pictured) left his property 40km north of Charleville yesterday and has not been in contact with family since.

Concerns are held for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition and may have become disorientated.

When Peter was last seen he was wearing light coloured shorts - similar to King Gee and a blue singlet.

Anyone who may have seen Peter, particularly anyone travelling along the Mitchell Highway, is urged to contact police.
