CQ's meth kingpin? Dealer had 340 messages to 28 buyers
GLADSTONE man Brandon James Gilchrist was sentenced to three and a half years imprisonment this morning in the Supreme Court of Rockhampton.
The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of trafficking dangerous drugs back in 2014.
The court heard Gilchrist came to the attention of police when he was pulled over for an RBT and police searched his vehicle where they found an amount of methamphetamines in clip seal bags, a 'wod' of cash, a blue notebook referred to as a 'tick sheet' and a mobile phone with 340 messages to 28 customers relating to drugs.
Gilchrist will serve six months in prison before being released on a suspended sentence.
