Woman to face court over car park stabbing
UPDATE 6AM: A woman charge with attempted murder over the alleged stabbing of a man at the North Buderim shopping centre car park will face court this morning.
Police will allege the 45-year-old Mountain Creek woman was in a car that drove up to a 48-year-old man who was walking outside a the shops on Pittard Rd about 9.40pm on Monday night.
It's understood the pair argued before the woman allegedly pulled out a bladed weapon and struck the man.
The man received wounds to his neck and arm and was taken to hospital with serious, although no longer life-threatening, injuries.
The woman handed herself in to police on Tuesday morning.

The man was stabbed in the neck and arm with a knife.
The woman will appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court tomorrow.
10AM: A 48-year-old man who received serious stab wounds was seen arguing with a woman before he was injured.
Police investigating the incident at the North Buderim shopping centre on Jones Rd overnight said the man, received knife wounds to his neck and arm.
He was taken to Nambour Hospital in a serious condition but is now stable.
Detectives are calling for anyone who was near the shopping centre about 9.45pm on Monday and and saw the pair to contact police.

9.30AM: Police believe a suspected stabbing at a Sunshine Coast shopping centre happened hours before it was reported.
Officers were called to the North Buderim shopping centre on Jones Rd just after midnight but have this morning revealed the incident is believed to have happened between 9.30-10pm on Monday night.
Anyone who was in the area around the time is urged to contact police.

8.30AM: A trail of blood leads from the concrete in front of a Buderim coffee shop, down a footpath and along Jones Rd this morning.
The section has been cordoned off with police tape as officers complete forensic investigations into last night's incident.
A section across the other side of Jones Rd at the intersection of Maroochydore Rd has also been surrounded by police tape.
Fingerprint dust lines some of the windows at North Coffee, a sign of investigations already done.
But business hasn't stopped, as it appears the investigation is focused on the area in front of the suburban shopping centre, rather than in it.
The scene has drawn customers' attention.
Most of them are surprised to learn of the stabbing that occurred shortly after midnight.
8AM: A man has been stabbed at a Sunshine Coast shopping centre with a heavy police presence at the scene this morning.
Police were called to the North Buderim shopping centre about 12.10am to reports a man had been stabbed.
They arrived to find a man in his late 40s with suspected stab wounds to his arm. It has been reported as a 'large laceration'.
The victim had called an ambulance himself and was conscious when paramedics arrived.
He was taken to Nambour Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crime scene is centred on the car park of the North Buderim shopping centre, located on Maroochydore Rd. Police are investigating.
Police said the man has no idea who stabbed him or what with, and no offender has been arrested.
