Man stabbed in leg the latest incident after a horror week
2pm: WHILE authorities are unclear on whether anyone will be charged over a stabbing incident in Norman Gardens this morning, knives do appear to be the weapon of choice for the region.
The incident, which occurred around 6.30am this morning, is the latest in a series of violent incidents that have occurred in Rockhampton this week.
In the most serious, a 35-year-old man was left with 10 stitches to the skull after he was attacked with a knife on High St. Read more here
11am: A SPOKESPERSON from the Queensland Police Service said the stabbing which occurred in the early hours of this morning was a "domestic" incident.
A man was stabbed in the back of the leg by a woman at a Norman Gardens residence after he grabbed her by the throat.
It is unclear whether anyone will be charged.

7.40am: POLICE have tracked down a man stabbed during an altercation in North Rockhampton this morning who left the scene on foot.
The man, 36, is now at a residence in Frenchville were he has told emergency services he does have a wound to the leg.
Emergency services are en route to the Frenchville address which is believed to be his mother's house.
Reports indicate the man was stabbed in the back of the leg by a woman at a Norman Gardens residence about an hour ago.
6.40am: POLICE are responding to reports of a stabbing in North Rockhampton.
Reports indicate a man has been stabbed in the leg.
It is believed a woman has stabbed him after he has grabbed her by the throat.
The incident has taken place at a residence in Wright St, Norman Gardens.
The man has left the residence on foot.
