Man holidaying at Happy Valley 'collapsed'

THE Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter flew to Happy Valley on Fraser Island at 10.35am yesterday morning after a 63-year-old man had suffered a suspected stroke.

The man was holidaying on the island, enjoying a fishing trip with friends, when he "collapsed".

The rescue service transported the patient to the Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
