Man critical after 'head and body stomped on'
TWO men have been charged after a man was allegedly tackled to the ground and had his body and head stomped on at Caboolture.
Police allege the attack happened about 5pm following a verbal altercation at Anastasia Court.
After the incident, the men allegedly fled the scene in a vehicle.
A 46-year-old Caboolture man was rushed to the Royal Brisbane Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Detectives conducted investigations and as a result two men were taken into custody.
A 31-year-old Meldale man and a 19-year-old Caboolture man have both been charged with grievous bodily harm.
They are both due to appear in Magistrates Court on Friday.
