Man caught driving 144km/h in a 100km/h zone

POLICE caught a 24-year-old male driver from Hermit Park speeding on the Bruce Hwy.

The man was driving a Holden Colorado near Bowen when police caught him driving at 144km/h in a 100km/h zone.

He was fined $1062 on the spot fine, 8 demerit points and also a six month high speed drivers licence suspension.
