Man allegedly yells 'black lives matter' before mooning cops

A YOUNG man who allegedly mooned police at night, and in front of several other people in Roma, was arrested and charged with public nuisance and wilful exposure.

At 9pm on Thursday, October 8, police were called to a Luff St residence with reports of a disturbance.

Officers allege that about 20 people were at the home with one 28-year-old Sunnybank Hills man repeatedly telling police to "f--k off" and "black lives matter".

Officers advised him to calm down and go inside.

Police allege he pulled his pants down and exposed his genitals to police then turned around and mooned police.

He was arrested and taken back to the police watch-house.

He was fined $400 for the public nuisance offence and $266 for wilful exposure.

A 19-year-old Roma male was also charged with public nuisance and will appear in the Roma Magistrate's Court later this month for his offensive and hostile behaviour towards police.

The 43-year-old female homeowner was issued with a noise abatement direction order.
