LNP staffer's snarky note to incoming Labor Government

INCOMING Palaszczuk government staff have been met with at least one back-handed congratulatory message from their vanquished Liberal National Party counterparts.

In a handwritten note found by a Labor government staffer in an Executive Building drawer, an anonymous former LNP government staff member let rip at his or her replacements.

The poison-penned letter, which was discovered this week and since obtained by Fairfax Media, but not released by the Palaszczuk government, reads as follows:

Dear Labor stooge,

Congratulations upon entry back into the Executive Position. Enjoy screwing up Queensland's economy!

This great state will not be fooled by your farcical governing.

Whilst you may be laughing at present, you will be turfed in 2018.

Your leader is gutless and scheming. You rely on the least educated to get support.

Enjoy, and remember - Queenslanders preferred a strong, stable government like the LNP.

Unfortunately your dirty lies tricked people into preferential voting!

Best of luck,

Anonymous
