Lisa Curry slams gossip mag editors as "seriously deluded"
SUNSHINE Coast sporting legend Lisa Curry has lashed the editors of two Australian gossip magazines, describing them as "seriously deluded" who publish "misleading garbage".
The superfit mother took to Facebook, seemingly after each magazines published false claims about her father and ex-husband Grant Kenny.
She calls out New Idea acting editor in chief Louisa Hatfield and Womans Day editor "Fiona Whateverhernameis" (Connolly) for publishing what she calls lies and deceit each week.
"I don't know how you two women sleep at night with the amount of lies, deceit, and misleading garbage you allow to be printed every single week," she posted on Facebook.
"Enough is enough.
"You people are seriously deluded.
"You have no idea the seriousness of your lies and the damage they are causing.
"Fiona (Fifi Box) is not pregnant, Grant is not a father again and leave dear little Trixie alone."
Trixie is the daughter of Fifi Box and Mr Kenny.
Ms Curry later updated her rant to remove any mention of her ex-husband, Fifi Box, and Trixie.
It's the second time in as many days that high-profile Australians have spewed venom at gossip writers who they accuse of writing lies about them.
On Saturday, Lara Bingle tore shreds off News Limited columnist Annette Sharp after she blasted the celebrity for naming her child "Rocket Zot", rather than giving her son a name that paid tribute to her late father.
"My son's middle name IS a respectful nod to my late father, whose nickname was affectionately, Zot.
"I wish Australian journalism, and in particular the Daily Telegraph, would rethink employing people who have some respect, and integrity, who either fact check or not comment -- rather than just print the juvenile, spurious ramblings of pseudo journalist called Annette Sharp.".
