Large grass fire near Bush Gardens

Firefighters have attended a large grass fire on the corner of Mayne and Duke Streets in Roma this afternoon.
Two local crews were called to the blaze adjacent to the Roma Bush Gardens, and arrived on scene at around 3.05pm.
Upon arrival, the vegetation fire was about 50 metres by 50 metres in size, but posing no immediate threat to nearby homes,
Police were also on the scene and council was informed.
