Roma Walk of Art opening for kindy art night

ELLA Chappel may be just four years old, but that hasn't stopped her from entering a piece in her first art exhibition.

It's not just Ella, it is all her classmates at the Maranoa Kindy who have been hard at work at the easel.

Their brightly decorated canvasses are lighting up the Roma gallery Walk of Art at the moment and tonight there will be an official opening.

Parents, teachers, students and friends of the C&K Maranoa Kindergarten in Bungil St are invited to the opening, which begins at the Walk of Art at 5pm.

There will be a slide show presented by local artist Tammie Saunders as well as nibbles.

Ella said she was excited to show her painting.

"It's a sky-coloured rainbow," she said.

Ella's mum said she had the idea after reading a book about the sky and then seeing a rainbow that night.
