21-year-old delivers baby boy at home early this morning

A 21-YEAR-OLD Kawana woman didn't have time to make it to hospital this morning which resulted in her giving birth to her baby boy at home.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said the baby was delivered at 4.39am.

"She went into labour before being able to get to the hospital," the spokesperson said.

"After the baby was delivered we transported mum and bub to Rockhampton hospital."
