Juveniles photographed on roof of Mt Archer primary school

BREAKING 10AM: A MORNING Bulletin reader has submitted photos of juveniles spotted on the roof of Mt Archer State Primary School in North Rockhampton.

The images show two young boys posing on the roof, flexing and giving rude hand gestures to the camera.

The photos come after Rockhampton police yesterday urged the community to be on the look out for trespassers at schools, after Berserker State School was broken into and trashed.

Reports indicate offenders broke into B-block sometime between December 11 and 14.

Offenders rummaged throughout a number of classrooms in B-block throwing items around and generally leaving a mess and causing damage.

Residents living near schools are urged to remain vigilant during the school holiday period and report any suspicious behaviour to police immediately and that includes kids loitering inside school grounds and around playground equipment.

Schools have a trespass policy whereby no persons should be on or near school grounds after hours and that includes the school holidays.

The images of the youth at Mt Archer have been passed on to police, and they are investigating.

Keep an eye on your school, report suspicious behaviour through School Watch on 13 17 88 or via Policelink on 131 444.
