Woman accused of trying to kill her husband walks free

A REDBANK Plains woman who was accused of trying to kill her husband had all charges against her dropped.

Maria Ioana Teresia Purcell, 54, was charged with attempted on December 2 after spending several weeks in hospital recovering from injuries she sustained during the October 10 incident.

Her matter was mentioned in court on Wednesday where the Crown said it could offer no evidence against Ms Purcell. 

Ms Purcell had already been released on bail while waiting for the matter to be resolved.
