ICAC findings face review after powers limited

DOZENS of Independent Commission Against Corruption findings may be overturned following a High Court decision limiting the watchdog's powers.

The ICAC has already invalidated four orders against mining tycoon Travers Duncan and three businessmen over their dealings with ousted NSW Labor politician Eddie Obeid.

It said it had "no arguable basis" to maintain the orders in light of the ruling blocking it from looking into corruption allegations against Crown prosecutor Margaret Cunneen.

NSW Premier Mike Baird will meet ICAC Commissioner Megan Latham to discuss the body's future later this week.
