RODEO: One-tonne bucking bulls turned heads and kids had a crack at being cowboys at the annual Condamine Bell Rodeo at the weekend.

Hundreds of participants and spectators from as far away as the Northern Territory descended on Condamine, usual population 400, to catch all the thrills and spills in the rodeo ring.

The two-day event was action-packed with the Saturday night bull, saddle and bareback rides, as well as rope and tie, steer wrestling, undecorating, breakaway, team roping and plenty of fun for the junior cowboys in bull, steer and poddy rides.
