Huge response to Roma Skate park consultation
COUNCIL would like to say a big “thank you” to everyone who participated in the recent consultation on the Roma Youth Precinct and Skate Park Master Plan.
Council received 65 online surveys over the three-week period, and over 40 people attended the ‘drop-in’ sessions held at the skate park.
Your responses and ideas are now being collated by Trinity Skateparks, with a concept design to be developed early in the New Year.
A second round of consultation will occur once this design has been developed.
Mayor Tyson Golder said that community consultation is an important part of our project planning process, and council are pleased to see such a big response from the community.
“We look forward to seeing the community’s ideas brought to life in the concept design,” Cr Golder said.
Council would like to thank Roma Toyworld for partnering with Council for the drop-in session prize pack which was drawn earlier this month.
