How will you rate the council when you get the call?

MARANOA Regional Council's overall performance will be evaluated as part of a phone survey.

About 300 Maranoa residents will be selected at random to take part in the comprehensive survey.

It will be undertaken by external market research consultant Market Facts and aims to help the council monitor progress and identify where improvements may be necessary to facilities, processes, services and infrastructure.

The surveying period will take place from today until Sunday, May 17.

Maranoa Mayor Robert Loughnan said the information will provide baseline data for the council to make improvements.

"I encourage residents, if contacted by Market Facts, to please take part in the surveying process - we need this type of feedback to be aware of what we are doing well and where improvements can be made," he said.

As Market Facts is an external consultant, all responses will remain anonymous.
