Horse shooting sparks investigation

INVESTIGATIONS are ongoing into the shooting of a horse on Raglan St last Wednesday night.

Officers were called to the property at 6:21pm to find the animal dead on site.

Police said it was unknown if the shooting was related to euthanisation or of criminal intent.

Police wish to speak to the horse owner in relation to the discharge of a firearm.
