Have your say on Surat’s Riverwalk extension

AS part of Maranoa Regional Council's 2020/21 budget there is approved funds for the extension of Surat's riverwalk.

Footpaths are a vital part of fostering active and connected communities, which is why council continues to prioritise their maintenance and construction.

The proposed extension is to go from Memorial Park (current end of Riverwalk) to Fisherman's Park.

There are three possible options for the new extension and each of these options have been assessed for suitability and a basic alignment sketch/design has been prepared.

Council is now inviting residents to have their say on the project and the proposed alignments.

The opportunity to have your say is now open and will close on Friday, November 13.
