Hairdressers are flat out for Roma Cup

DON'T bother asking Jezemay Landers about how her week's been - she won't have time to tell you.

The Roma hairdresser, along with every other hair salon in town, has been flat out with bookings for hair cuts, colours and styles this week for the Roma Cup.

Ms Landers, working out of Aubrey Rae Hair Studio, said she wouldn't have a normal client until after 12pm tomorrow.

"I've been booked out every single day - I've already had 12-hour days every single day this week," she said.

While no particular style had been dominating people's wishlists, Ms Landers said women had been opting for a fairer shade of colour.

"Blondes are huge right now, because word has gotten around I think that I like to do blonde colourings," she said.

"Typically a colour and cut client will take about three and half hours.

"It's up to the individual - what I do is find what suits people."
