QLD: Gunmen on the run, shots fired

Police are investigating after shots were fired outside a house at Redbank today.

The incident occurred at about 10am on Spencer St at which time three shots were fired.

It is understood two men approached the rear of the house where they were confronted by a 37-year-old male occupant of the property.

After a brief conversation, one of the two men discharged a firearm three times.

The men then fled through the back yard of a Law St address to a vehicle parked at a nearby business before driving away, onto the Ipswich Motorway towards Ipswich.

Police are searching for a white Nissan Patrol seen leaving the area at the time of the incident.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

Police are asking for anyone who heard the shots, saw the vehicle or witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
