Gold Coast top cop Michelle Stenner charged with perjury
ONE of the Gold Coast's most senior police officers has been charged with several counts of perjury and misconduct.
The Gold Coast Bulletin can reveal Gold Coast Superintendent Michelle Stenner appeared in the Southport Watchhouse this morning where she was charged and granted bail.
She was not required in court.
The charges include misconduct in relation to public office - making an admission in abuse of authority or office which is alleged to have occurred on June 4, 2016 at Ferny Avenue in Surfers Paradise.
