Girl’s cringey text exchange with dad
A MORTIFIED teenager claims her dad accused her of leaving a sex toy in her room, only to find it was something far more innocent.
Twitter user @_Emmiily was on the end of the cringe-worthy text exchange with her dad after he discovered her portable mobile battery.
She posted the messages online under the caption: "This was so awkward omg my dad really assumed the worst."
Her dad originally wrote to her: "Emily, where are you? When you get home we need to talk."

After explaining she was at a pal's house, he sent a picture of the USB charger along with the message: "Well I found this. Why are you making these purchases. That is disgusting!
"You shouldn't waste your money! If you have these kind of needs I suggest you don't leave this sh*t laying around."

Feigning confusion, Emily replied: "DAD WHAT DO YOU THINK THAT IS?"
Her dad replied that he thought the device was one of "those disgusting toys that vibrate".

But he is met with a dressing down from his daughter, who says: "Dad, that's my portable charger! I use that for Disneyland to charge my phone!! Omg what were you doing in my stuff btw?"
Apparently embarrassed, her father simply replied: "Don't tell ur mum ... sorry. I needed chapstick."
The exchange has received more than 125,000 Likes on Twitter after it was posted on Sunday.
