Girl, 13, charged over two attempted armed robberies
POLICE have charged a teenage girl over two attempted armed robberies in Toowoomba at the weekend.
A 13-year-old girl will face Toowoomba Children's Court this morning charged with two counts of attempted armed robbery.
She is accused of being armed with a knife when attempting to rob a taxi driver on Bridge St, Toowoomba early on Monday morning.
The 63-year-old driver was not physically injured.
The girl has also been charged over the attempted armed robbery of a 7-Eleven service station on James St in Harristown.
That incident occurred about 11.50pm on Sunday.
Police are still looking for a second female who was believed to have been involved in the attempted armed robberies.
