GIDDY UP: Cities head to Bassett Park

FOR THE third year, Roma Cities will take over Bassett Park for a day dedicated to celebrating rugby league.

Hosting a five-day race program this Saturday, the day will also feature Fashions on the Field, a jumping castle and live entertainment from the afternoon into the evening.

Dan Murray said it was a day to fundraise for the club and focus on the development of juniors.

"We want to get as many people to the racecourse to support the club and rugby league,” he said.

"Now that the Carnarvon Cubs are using our facilities as well, we want to make sure we can support our juniors, all the way through to our A-Grade players.”

There will also be a luncheon, catered by REX.

The event will be held on Saturday, July 13

Gates open at 12pm.
