Getting a whole outfit in Roma for $20? Easy

BUDGET shoppers were in their element over the weekend at the PCYC’s Pre-loved Markets.

Emilia Payne had a stall at the market on Sunday and was offering a top, pants, shoes and even a handbag all for the mere price of $20.

“I have homewares, clothing, kids toys and make-up for sale today,” she said.

“If the market wasn’t on it probably just would of ended up going to Lifeline so this is really good event to have.”

Branch support officer Cindy Harvey said the whole weekend had been really successful.

“The weather didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits which was good,” she said.

“We probably had more people on Saturday then Sunday but it was a good turn out overall.”

The Maranoa PCYC was now considering whether to hold a pre-loved sale for toys in the months leading up to Christmas.

“We had a lot of people suggest that we run a pre-loved toy sale,” Ms Harvey said.

“So that could be on the cards for around November when everyone is wanting to get presents for Christmas.”

A number of clothing and homeware items that were not sold on the weekend have been left to the PCYC and Ms Harvey said at this stage they plan on donating them to families in need.
