Get thrifty at PCYC’s pre-loved clothing markets

REVAMP your wardrobe on a budget by paying a visit to PCYC Maranoa’s pre-loved clothing market next weekend.

Branch Support Officer Cindy Harvey was the brains behind the idea and is hoping the community will get involved with the initiative.

“With PCYC being a not-for-profit organisation we look for fund-raising ideas that help raise funds for the youth programs that we have throughout the centre,” she said.

“You see everybody online selling their clothes and other items, so we thought we would organise a market and there’s not really a market in town that is aimed towards pre-loved clothing and home items.”

“We have a few stalls booked already which is really great and hopefully we can get a few more in and that will just make our day.”

People are encouraged to bring in their pre-loved kids, women's and men’s clothing, home items, Tupperware and other various items to sell on the day.

Stalls are still available for $10, which includes a table and chair.

Morning tea and coffee will also be available over the two days.
