GALLERY: Picnic Races kick off with ball

BASSETT Park was the place to be seen on Friday night, as well-dressed patrons made their way to the Black Toyota Black Tie Ball, a pre-celebration for the Picnic Races.
Hundreds of guests enjoyed a three course sit down dinner, drinks and live entertainment, that ran from 6pm until late.
The glamorous event was followed by the 119th picnic races, held at Basset Park today.
