AN ARRAY of culinary and artistic delights were on display at this year's Maranoa Food and Fire festival.
Huge crowds gathered at the Big Rig to enjoy school performances, celebrity cooking shows, musical performances, the lantern parade and of course the flame spectacular from the Sacred Circus Fire Show.
There was something for all ages with plenty of activities for the kids and entertainment for the adults.
The region's best produce was on display with celebrity chef Alistair McLeod's cooking demonstration, with meat from Maranoa Beef and fruit and veges supplied by Lemon Grove Produce.
The heat was on when Maranoa Mayor Tyson Golder battled it out in the kitchen with Santos' Maranoa Regional Manager Andrew Snars as they took part in the Ready, Steady Cook-Off challenge.
When the sun went down and the lanterns came on, the children then paraded through the festival with the help of the Chinese dragons from the Dragon Dance Events LTL Group.
