ROMA State College held its World's Greatest Shave event on Monday, where eight students and three teachers dared to bare by going under the clippers for the cause.
The World's Greatest Shave is an annual event that raises money for leukaemia research, with participants encouraged to shave, cut their hair or wax their legs.
Others in the cohort participated by dying their hair or trying a wacky hairstyle on the day.
A total of $3500 was raised for the cause, with RSC hosting a series of sausage sizzles, bake sales and a free dress days to fundraise in preparation for the event.
Roma State College year level co-ordinator Rachel Cross said she was extremely proud of the campus senior welfare committee for their fundraising efforts, and the students and staff members who participated in the shave.
