Former Gladstone 4CC radio staffer on fresh fraud charge
FORMER Radio 4CC promotions manager Sommer Price has fronted a Gladstone court on serious fraud charges allegedly committed when she worked for a Gladstone dental surgery.
Price, 30, also sought to change her bail conditions and report to police in Rockhampton instead of Gladstone.
Police have charged her with a new offence as part of the allegations between June 2014 and September 2015 involving about $50,000.
Sommer Julie Price is charged with 15 counts of fraud causing detriment by an employee, two counts of fraudulently falsify/alter a record, fraudulent omission, fraud, dishonest application of property of another by an employee, stealing by a clerk/servant, use of a restricted computer without consent to cause detriment or gain and several drug-related offences.
She was supported at Gladstone Courthouse by a male friend.
Lawyer Stacey O'Gorman said the bail variation and change of residence was not opposed by police.
Prosecutor Sergeant Barry Stevens said Price had been served with a notice at court with a further offence.
He said the amount of money involved in the case required the matter to proceed before the district court.
Magistrate Melanie Ho varied bail and adjourned all matters to a date in September.
