Five cars stolen from Ipswich homes in five days

DO you know where your car keys are?

Ipswich District Police are are appealing for public assistance to locate a number of missing vehicles throughout the Ipswich region.

Several of the vehicles were taken while the victims were at home.

Keys, mobile phones and cash were also stolen after thieves allegedly gained entry to homes and easily located car keys in plain view.

Police advise residents should secure their homes and vehicles to avoid opportunistic thefts and hiding car keys and valuables will make it difficult for offenders to steal vehicles and other property.

A white Toyota Corolla with registration 434BEN was reported stolen earlier today while an orange Ford Falcon with registration 819RGN was reported stolen yesterday.

A blue Holden Commodore with registration 787VGZ was reported stolen on August 11.

Two vehicles, a grey Holden Commodore with registration 434VEN and a blue Nissan Navara with registration 936SAA, were reported stolen on August 10.

Anyone with information which could assist should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously via 1800 333 000.
